Preconditions
First cycle higher education (bachelor degree) in the field of computer science and information technology, or comparable education; or first cycle higher education (bachelor degree) in another field and an entrance exam or at least two years of professional experience in a field related to computer science and information technology. English language skills equivalent to at least B2 level.
Applicants who have not obtained first-cycle higher education in the field of computer science and information technology, or equivalent education, and who do not have at least two years of professional experience in a field related to computer science and information technology, must take the entrance examination (for more information please see
here).
The entrance examination corresponds to the following three courses that can be taken as intensive continuing education courses at RTU:
· Computer Networks of 3 ECTS,
· Databases of 3 ECTS,
· Higher Mathematics of 3 ECTS.
If the applicant submits documents certifying achievement of the study results of any of the above study courses, the Program Director may take a decision regarding recognition of the results of such studies and exclude the course from an entrance examination.

The university also requires a minimum language proficiency as part of its general admission requirements. An internationally recognized English proficiency test (see below) or letter confirming that previous studies' medium of instruction was in English Language is required.

If none of the above applies, but your studies at the secondary school level were in the English Language, provide a confirmation letter from your school, unless it states on your secondary school certificate that the medium of instruction was in English. In case of any doubts, RTU reserves the right to request an official language certificate as listed above.
